I got new glasses!

I recently blogged about needing to get my eyes tested. Turns out I am slightly long sighted. The optician said that it would help with eye strain/headaches etc. if I wore glasses while at my desk. She said that if I wasn’t in a job that required me to sit in front of a computer for hours on end then I probably wouldn’t need glasses at all. Oh the joys of modern living.

I bought a pair or Ray-bans which I love. The frames are tortoiseshell and I am a huge fan of over-sized specs! I have been wearing them this week and trying to get used to them. I have to admit it feels really strange wearing glasses that aren’t sunglasses!

So below are the pair I bought, slightly smaller than the ones in the image above. I was trying to appear all inconspicuous in the shop and take a subtle snap so that I could see if I liked them. Apols for my moody/thunder face!

What do you think? Do you prefer more demure glasses?
