I really want to learn to knit.
Given that I barely have time to draw, taking on another hobby may be tricky. But alas, I will one day be able to knit myself a jumper… or at least some woolly socks!
I am obsessed with greeting cards and often spend ages in shops eyeing them up and using them for sketching inspiration. I was in Scribbler the other day when I spied a knitting kit… to knit a coffee cup cosy!!!!!
Genuis.
I bought it but haven’t managed to use it yet as I have been mad busy with my new job this week!
Will post progress of how I get on with my attempt to knit this!
Do you knit? Any tips for a beginner like me?!

Love the Knit Kit.. Can you buy it online? I just started to knit, hadn’t done it at all since school. I took it back up purely due to boredom one day and I haven’t looked back. I knitted myself a really cool scarf and I am now knitting ones for friends. Love that they are authentic, one of a kind and a little bit flawed
.. The only thing I found is that it can be an expensive hobby ( that is if you are using quality wool ) … Also looking for good Knitting sites so if you come across any do let me know…. Good luck with it, guarantee you’l have fun with it
