During my time in university I was deputy features editor for the College View  newspaper and deputy editor and deputy arts editor for Flashback magazine.

UNIVERSITY EDITORIAL POSITIONS

Sept 2007 – May 2009: Flashback Magazine (Student Publication)

Deputy Editor (Sept 2008 – May 2009)

Deputy Arts Editor (Sept 2007 – May 2008)

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Writing articles for the magazine
• Working with the editor to completely revamp the entire layout of the magazine and inject new life into the publication
• Compiling story ideas and features for the magazine
• Sub-editing all articles submitted by contributors
• Coming up with headlines and pull quotes for articles
• Working with the design and layout team
• Promoting the magazine via facebook page and organising a launch party

Sept 2008 – May 2009: The College View (Student Publication)
