Rodial: eye masks
No matter how much sleep I get on a Friday or Saturday night, I still wake up feeling puffy faced and looking like I got 4 hours sleep.
Weekday mornings are fine… But the weekends? Oh dear, I turn into the elephant man. Maybe I get too much sleep or the tiredness from the week finally catches up on me.
I recently bought Dragon’s Blood Eye Masks from Rodial. You leave them on for 20-30 minutes and they claim to leave your skin feeling cooler and more moisturised.
The tag line:
A recent addition to Rodial’s cult Dragon’s Blood range, these innovative eye masks combine the expertise in bio-cellulose technology with their unique dragon’s blood complex to intensely hydrate and moisturise the eye area. The dragons blood (sap from the Crton Lechleri tree) extract works as a second skin whilst soothing and repairing the skin cells. The Hyaluronic Acid works instantly to plump and hydrate, helping the eyes to appear firmer, plumper and younger!
So what were the results?
Noticeable happier (less puffy!) eyes.
The eye patches immediately cooled my under-eye area and 30 minutes later the area was noticeably smoother and de-puffed.
You get 8 sachets in the packet and at £39 (from Selfridges), they’re not cheap. However, I just use them once a week so don’t mind paying that for basically 2 months worth. Using them daily would result in a very pricey habit though!
