Drink more water
We all know the benefits of drinking water. It can help rid the body of toxins, make skin look clearer and brighter, maximise physical performance, hydratate brain cells and aids digestion.
Given that the average human body is 50-65% water, it makes sense to keep hydrated and replenish water lost from physical activity, perspiration (sweating on the Northern Line!) etc.
Yet I still find that sometimes it gets to the end of the day before I realise I’ve not had more than a glass or two of water. How did that happen?!
It’s not that I don’t like the taste of water, it’s more a case of sitting at my desk all day and forgetting to top up my glass. I feel like I need to set an hourly alarm on my phone to remind myself to drink water (that may be a plan!).
Even though I like the taste of water , I definitely find that I enjoy it and drink more when I have fruit infused water. I generally just go for your standard lemon/lime combo but recently have fallen slightly in love with cucumber, mint and lime infused water.
I recently bought one of those water infuser bottles which has a separate little compartment for your fruit/veg too!
